Bat, Bee, and Bird House Building Workshop

Saturday, June 4th 12:00 – 3:00 pm

Location: Syntropy Co-op (812 Jenifer St.)

Build Your Own Bird, Bee, and Bat House!  Free workshop with John Peck of Family Farm Defenders and big fan of furry, leathery, and fuzzy critters.  No carpentry experience required – we’re here to help!  Part of the Madison Free School.

Bats are essential for maintaining healthy ecosystems. Most bats eat huge amounts of insects, including farm pests and mosquitoes. You’ll also enjoy learning more about bats as you watch them come and go from the home you provided. And homes are often in short supply for bats. Their populations are declining around the world, often because of disappearing habitat.
