Please join us on Saturday, March 26 for a Spring Orchard Care Workshop!  This hands-on workshop will include fruit tree pruning and caring for young fruit trees.  Please bring any stepladders, loppers, trimming saws and pruning shears you have.  This workshop and volunteer activity will run from 9-noon at the Mendota Mental Health Institute (MMHI) orchard.  If time permits, we’ll then head to Troy Gardens to prune the young fruit trees there.

Directions to the MMHI Orchard: Go west from Troy Gardens on the 500 block of Troy Drive, pass the main entrance to MMHI, continue uphill and take a left turn opposite a bus stop. Follow the road as it runs behind the power plant and past the security offices, and then look for a small parking lot at the intersection with Nurses Dormitory Road.

PLEASE REGISTER by sending email to Christie Ralston at christie@troygardens.org .
